One person was jailed and one was cited following an alleged assault incident on Saturday.

A Roseburg Police report at 6:00 p.m. a 20-year old man and a 35-year old man were allegedly involved in a physical disturbance in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The younger man reportedly stabbed the second one in the arm with a knife. He was charged with second degree assault and detained without bail.

The other man was provided with medical care and cited for second-degree disorderly conduct.
