Two people went to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday.

A Sutherlin Police report said at 11:50 a.m. the driver of a sedan said she lost control of her vehicle for an unknown reason and crossed into the opposing lane of travel, hitting an SUV in the 1400 block of East Central Avenue. The driver in the vehicle hit was taken by ambulance to CHI Mercy Medical Center. The other driver went to the hospital via a private vehicle.
