In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Music in the Park begins its 2022 season Thursday night.

The first performers are the Tim Hall Band, a Gig Harbor, Washington based blues and rock band.

Douglas County’s longest running summer concert series is celebrating its 35th anniversary. It is coordinated by the Myrtle Creek-Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce and is supported by donations, grants and gifts.

Concerts take place in Millsite Park beginning at 6:00 p.m. Those attending can bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Food vendors are located both on and off site.

Concerts continue through August 25th.
