A sedan hit a building during a three-vehicle accident on Thursday afternoon.
A Roseburg Police report said just before 4:50 p.m. a juvenile was pulling out of the Chevron station in the 300 block of West Harvard Avenue, planning to proceed west. As the driver pulled out, her vehicle was hit by a pickup that was traveling eastbound on Harvard. The impact caused the sedan to spin into the path of a third vehicle which was going westbound on Harvard.
The sedan hit the side of the Denny’s Restaurant building, causing a significant hole in the structure of that business. The report said debris from the building was scattered throughout the men’s bathroom of Denny’s.
There were no injuries to any of the drivers, or to any customers inside the restaurant. The first vehicle had to be towed from the scene. The driver was cited for making a dangerous left turn.
