A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident Monday afternoon.
A Roseburg Police report said at 4:30 p.m. the 46-year old was contacted by officers for standing in the roadway on the Interstate 5 southbound on ramp at the Harvard Avenue interchange. The suspect was allegedly hitting the hoods of vehicles as they went by. The man reportedly stopped several cars and even a motorcycle as they got on the freeway on ramp.
The report said the suspect was irate and continued to get in the roadway even while police were talking with him. He was eventually taken into custody. The man was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
