The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is coming to Sutherlin Tuesday.

Sponsored by the Sutherlin Rotary Club, it is being held at Lauren Young Park at the corner of Calapooia Street and Hastings Avenue. Shows are at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Beginning at 9:30 a.m. residents can see the big top rise, learn more about life on the road, see the animals and get a behind the scenes look at the show. The midway opens at 4:00 p.m. with pony rides, a giant slide, face painting, a concession stand and more.
