A spokesperson for Oregon State Police has confirmed that there was a fatal accident on Interstate Five southbound.

A log entry said first responders were sent to the scene shortly two-miles south of Canyonville shortly before 3:00 a.m. Friday.   Next of kin has been contacted. A report is expected later on Friday.
