A transient was jailed following a disturbance on Tuesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 5:15 a.m. officers responded top the incident at Stewart Park. During the subsequent investigation they arrested 70-year old Lonnie Goding for allegedly pointing a loaded firearm at a victim after the two had a verbal exchange in the parking lot near the park restrooms.

Charges included unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, and pointing a firearm at another person. Bail was set at $62,500.
