Douglas County Commissioners visited the Bistro Sixty Glendale Senior Dining Site on Tuesday to honor Rose Masters with the Volunteer of the Month award for this month.

They were joined by Douglas County Senior Services Director Jeanne Wright, Food Coordinator Darla Hilburn and site coordinator Sharon Hass and all their site volunteers.

Masters has been a volunteer at the facility for seven years.

Bistro Sixty Glendale currently prepares and delivers meals on Tuesdays, Thursday’s and Fridays at the Special People’s Depot, on Glendale Town Road in Glendale. Two Meals on Wheels routes deliver to households in the Glendale and Azalea area. Residents who know of friends or family that could benefit from the program should call Senior Services at 440-3677.
