The Roseburg Regional Airport has received almost four inches of rain so far this month.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the airport got .42 inches of rain on Tuesday. That makes the total measurable precipitation for April 3.98 inches. On average, the airport gets 2.71 inches of rain in the entire month of April, putting the area well ahead of normal.

Monday the airport received .34 inches of rain. Showers and possible thunderstorms are in the forecast through Thursday night in the Umpqua Valley.
