As of Monday, Roseburg has already exceeded the average rainfall amount for all of the month of April.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that so far 3.56 inches of rain has been recorded this month at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The normal amount of rain at the airport in April is 2.71 inches. Roseburg is 1.75 inches above the average amount of precipitation for this time of the month.

Monday the airport got.34 inches of rain.

A chance of showers and possible thunderstorms are in the forecast through Friday in the Umpqua Valley.
