The Roseburg City Council will resume having in-person meetings on Monday.

Mayor Larry Rich will recognize City volunteers and proclaim Volunteer Recognition Month. A proclamation for Oregon Arbor Month will be given as well.

Councilors will accept the resignation of Alison Eggers, who has represented Ward 1. This will be Eggers last meeting as she will be moving out of state. Councilors will also accept the resignation of Ronald Sperry from the Planning Commission. He has moved outside the city limits.

A special presentation on the proposed Roseburg School District Bond Levy will be made. Councilors will then vote on a resolution of support for that levy.

A vote will also be taken on a resolution authorizing the dedication of a small portion of City property at the corner of West Harvard Avenue and Keady Court for use as public right-of-way. This is adjacent to the proposed Thundering Water Recreation and Wellness Park.

The City is continuing COVID-19 capacity restrictions in the Council Chambers, making attendance at the meeting limited to a total of 47 people. The meeting can also be seen via the City’s Facebook page or watched later at: www.cityofroseburg.org.
