A Roseburg area woman was jailed following an alleged strangulation incident on Friday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 10:30 p.m. a disturbance was reported in the 100 block of Lancaster in Green. A victim reported that she had been choked by 51-year old Valerie Michaux. Michaux was charged with strangulation, harassment and for a warrant. Bail was set at $13,750.
