Two people were hurt following a single vehicle wreck early Friday.

An Oregon State Police report said at about 1:50 a.m. a pickup was traveling eastbound on Highway-138E just east of the Steamboat Inn, when it spun, rolled completely over and impacted a guardrail backwards. The vehicle blocked the eastbound lane. The passenger was picked up by another motorist and taken to CHI Mercy Medical Center.

The report said the driver remained with the pickup. The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUII following an investigation. She was transported to the Douglas County Jail and agreed to a breath test. The driver’s blood alcohol level was .16, which is twice the legal level of intoxication. The driver was given a courtesy ride to Mercy, issued a criminal citation, and was released.
