Cascade Community Credit Union recently received a top ranking through the nationally recognized S & P Global Market Intelligence list. Marketing Director Shelby Beattie said Cascade was ranked number thirteen for credit unions in the United States for this year. Beattie said there are approximately 5,000 credit unions in the U.S.

S & P Global Market Intelligence calculated scores for each credit union based on five metrics: member growth, average loans per member, net worth as a percentage of total assets, delinquent loans as a percentage of total loans and return on average assets.

Beattie said Cascade has ranked among the top credit unions in the nation for several years. She said that proves not only their commitment to excellence locally, but to the highest standards achievable. Cascade CEO Lynn Calvert said, “Cascade is proud to be honored with this recognition. Our team’s goal has always been supporting our community and being good stewards of our membership’s funds”.
