GEOLOGICAL SURVEYS COULD CAUSE TRAFFIC DELAYS THROUGH FRIDAY

April 6, 2022 3:40 a.m.

Geological surveys along Toketee-Ridgon Road, also known as Forest Road 34, near the Toketee Reservoir dam on the Diamond Lake Ranger District, could cause delays to traffic this week.

Chris Bentley of the Umpqua National Forest said flaggers will control traffic at two junctions of the Toketee-Rigdon Road:

*At Ranger Station Road, also known as Forest Road 4776

*At the turn-off into the Toketee Campgound

Bentley said traffic could be delayed for up to thirty minutes. Detours are unavailable due to snow at higher elevations. Access to the Toketee Falls Trailhead parking lot will remain open.
