Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 10:30 a.m. the 39-year old was contacted after refusing to leave a business in the 2600 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The suspect allegedly pushed past staff to enter the business after they told him to leave. The man said he was only trying to help the business by lending them a hand.

The suspect was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and for a probation violation. He was detained without bail.
