Local health officials are warning of continued fentanyl overdose activity.

Information from the Douglas Public Health Network said fentanyl can be mixed with numerous drugs, including prescription drugs without the knowledge of the person taking it.

DPHN said to stay safe:

*Do not take a medication unless it came from a pharmacy and is prescribed

*Carry naloxone, also known as Narcan

Naloxone is a potentially life saving drug which is available without a prescription. It is available at all pharmacies and at the HIV Alliance in Roseburg.
