Roseburg Police jailed a man accused of breaking into vehicles between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

The RPD report said at around 12:00 a.m. the 34-year old was contacted near the corner of West Brown Avenue and West Union Street. The report said the suspect tried to jump a fence in the 700 block of West Wharton Street. Officers contacted the man who was allegedly in possession of shaved car keys.

He was charged with unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, possession of burglary tools and for second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $13,750.
