A Roseburg man was jailed after reportedly fighting with officers on Thursday.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 10:10 a. the 39-year old was wanted by his parole officer and was contacted at a residence in the 1800 block of Northeast Klamath Street. The suspect allegedly resisted arrest and a taser was deployed twice. The man was ultimately taken into custody and cleared by medical personnel.

The suspect was charged with resisting arrest and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
