COVID-19 has claimed 34 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,686, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 696 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 695,003.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 404, which is 2 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 69 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Wednesday.

The new cases include:

*140 in Multnomah County

*89 in Washington County

*60 in Lane County

*53 in Clackamas County
