A Roseburg man was cited after a Monday night crash.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 7:00 p.m. a driver was stopped at the corner of Northeast Stephens and Northeast Exchange. He then attempted to drive straight across Stephens to Northeast Meadow.  A second driver was traveling northbound on Stephens when his vehicle was hit by the first one.

The first vehicle sustained heavy damage to the areas of the driver door, right fender and right side front-end. It also sustained a flat driver side front tire and the driver side quarter panel was damaged as the truck’s back end swung towards the second vehicle before both vehicles veered off to their final positions. The second vehicle had damage to the driver side quarter panel and heavy front-end damage from crashing into a nearby tree.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for failure to yield before entering a roadway. Both vehicles were towed away.
