TWO JAILED AFTER ARGUMENT ALLEGEDLY BECOMES PHYSICAL

Two men were jailed after an argument allegedly became physical on Thursday night.

The Roseburg Police report said the incident took place in the 1000 block of Southeast Rice Avenue. The suspects argued in the living room over how the older man cut the dog’s toenails. The dispute escalated and the 19-year reportedly punched the 43-year old in the head and face multiple times.

At some point, the older man allegedly grabbed the younger man and choked him. The younger man freed himself and continued to punch the older man. Both were intoxicated. The older man refused medical assistance.

Michael Bowers was charged with a felony count of strangulation. Bail was set at $50,000. Logan Bowers was charged with fourth degree assault- a felony. Bail was set at $6,250.
