Roseburg Police cited a man following an alleged criminal mischief incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. the suspect allegedly tried to break into a pickup in the 1400 block of Northeast Stephens. The man’s actions reportedly caused damage to the vehicle. The suspect admitted to being in the area and said he was “thinking” about breaking into the pickup.

He was cited for attempted unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and second-degree criminal mischief. The man was released after the citation was issued.
