COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,774, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 196 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 208,637. The new cases include:

*21 in Umatilla County

*19 in Multnomah County

*17 each in Clackamas and Lane counties

*16 in Jackson County

*15 in Linn County

*12 in Marion County

*11 each in Douglas and Washington counties

*8 in Polk County

*7 in Deschutes County

*6 in Union County

*5 each in Clatsop, Josephine, Klamath and Yamhill counties

*3 each in Baker and Jefferson counties

*2 each in Hood River, Malheur and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Crook, Curry. Harney, and Morrow counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 70 to 88. 1 each lived in Jefferson, Jackson, Malheur, and Lane counties

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 136, which is 13 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 31 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 59,070 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 4,132 doses were administered on Tuesday. 54,938 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
