COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,770, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 230 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 208,446. The new cases include:

*31 in Multnomah County

*25 each in Lane and Washington counties

*23 in Marion County

*21 in Umatilla County

*14 in Douglas County

*12 each in Clackamas and Jackson counties

*9 in Linn County

*7 each in Deschutes, Jefferson and Josephine counties

*5 in Polk County

*4 each in Lincoln and Yamhill counties

*3 each in Columbia and Hood River counties

*2 each in Baker, Crook, Curry, and Union counties

*1 each in Coos, Harney, and Tillamook counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 42 to 97. 3 lived in Washington County. 1 each lived in Coos, Curry, Lane and Multnomah counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 149, which is 11 fewer than on Monday. There are 35 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 4 fewer than on Monday.

OHA reported 5,545 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 2,773 doses were administered on Monday. 2,772 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
