Record heat continues in parts of western Oregon.

Data from the National Weather Service said Portland had a high of 116 degrees on Monday. That sets a new record all-time high for the third day in a row. Sunday Portland reached 112 degrees, and 108 degrees was the high on Saturday. The previous all-time record high for Portland prior to the weekend, had been 107 degrees.

Salem saw an all-time record high, getting to 117 degrees. That beat Salem’s record high of 113 degrees, set on Sunday.

Medford tied its all-time record high, getting to 115 degrees. That temperature was originally set on July 20th, 1946.

Roseburg reached 101 degrees which was not a record. The record for the date was 102 degrees, set in 2003.
