Roseburg had the hottest day ever in the month of June on Saturday.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury got to 105 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The previous record high for the month was 104 degrees, set on June 30th, 1942. It was also a record high for the date. The hottest June 26th ever in Roseburg, had been 102 degrees, set in 2006.
Sunday is slated to be the hottest day ever in the history of Roseburg. The National Weather Service is expecting the high to get to 112 degrees. That would eclipse the previous hottest day ever, which was 109 degrees. That was set on July 20th,1946 and tied on August 15th, 2020.
