COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,761, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 232 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 207,787. The new cases include:

*35 in Multnomah County

*30 in Marion County

*23 in Linn County

*20 in Clackamas County

*16 in Jackson County

*15 in Lane County

*12 each in Deschutes and Washington counties

*9 in Douglas County

*7 in Lincoln County

*6 in Klamath County

*5 in Polk County

*4 each in Benton and Coos counties

*3 each in Columbia, Crook and Malheur counties

*2 each in Curry and Tillamook counties

*1 each in Union, Wasco and Yamhill counties

The new death was an 81-year old man in Jackson County

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients across Oregon is 151, which is 11 fewer than on Thursday. There are 32 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Thursday.

OHA reported that 16,171 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total. 5,173 doses were administered on Thursday. 10,998 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Thursday.
