COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,737, as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 314 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 205,459. The new cases include:

*40 in Washington County

*39 in Jackson County

*34 in Multnomah County

*32 in Marion County

*25 in Clackamas County

*24 in Lane County

*18 in Douglas County

*14 in Umatilla County

*13 in Polk County

*11 in Yamhill County

*9 in Linn County

*7 each in Columbia and Klamath counties

*6 in Deschutes County

*4 each in Crook, Josephine and Malheur counties

*3 each in Baker, Clatsop, Curry and Hood River counties

*2 each in Coos, Jefferson, and Lincoln counties

*1 each in Benton, Harney, Lake, Union and Wallowa counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 60 to 81. 1 each lived in Deschutes, Curry, Clackamas, Multnomah, Wasco, Lake and Klamath counties.

The number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 172, which is 2 fewer than on Monday. There are 46 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is unchanged from Monday.

OHA reported that 21,811 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,510 doses were administered on Monday. 16,301 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
