COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,601, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 394 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 196,787. The new cases include:

*57 in Multnomah County

*42 in Marion County

*36 in Deschutes County

*32 in Washington County

*31 each in Clackamas and Jackson counties

*24 in Linn County

*22 in Lane County

*11 each in Crook and Josephine counties

*10 each in Umatilla and Yamhill counties

*9 in Klamath County

*8 each in Douglas, Jefferson and Polk counties

*6 each in Benton and Curry counties

*5 in Clatsop County

*4 each in Columbia, Malheur and Malheur counties

*3 in Harney County

*2 each in Tillamook and Wallowa counties

*1 each in Baker, Coos, Grant, Hood River, Lake, Lincoln, Morrow and Union counties

The new deaths ranged in age from 62 to 93. 2 lived in Multnomah County. 1 each lived in Marion, Deschutes, Linn, Umatilla and Deschutes counties.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 306, which is 25 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 78 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 fewer than on Tuesday.

OHA reported that 24,280 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 17,217 doses were administered on Tuesday. 7,063 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Tuesday.
