MAN JAILED FOLLOWING ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged trespass incident early Monday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 4:50 a.m. officers contacted the 36-year old near the corner of Northeast Douglas and Northeast Ramp Avenue after callers said the man was knocking on doors and windows at that location. The suspect was reportedly trying to get into several of the doors. The report said the man dropped a large knife behind one of the residences.

The suspect was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $3,750.
