2 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 4 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Sunday.

County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 67th death was a 58-year old man who died April 20th and tested positive post mortem with notification received on Saturday. The 68th death was an 80-year old woman who tested positive on Friday and died on Saturday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 3,098. Of those, 2,948 are people that have received positive test results and 150 are presumptive. 10 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 6 locally and 4 outside the area. 80 people are in isolation. 173 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 253 people that are either in isolation or quarantine. That is an increase of 20 people since Saturday.
