COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,370, as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 422 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 162,806. The new cases include:
*69 in Multnomah County
*54 in Washington County
*49 in Marion County
*42 in Clackamas County
*22 in Josephine County
*21 each in Deschutes and Jackson counties
*17 in Linn County
*16 in Lane County
*13 in Douglas County
*12 in Coos County
*11 in Umatilla County
*10 in Baker County
*9 each in Clatsop and Klamath counties
*8 in Polk County
*7 in Columbia County
*6 each in Curry and Yamhill counties
*4 each in Lincoln and Tillamook counties
*3 each in Lake and Wasco counties
*2 in Malheur County
*1 each in Benton, Crook, Hood River and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 56 to 64. 1 each lived in Coos and Grant counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 108, which is 6 more than on Wednesday. There are 17 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Wednesday.
OHA reported that 36,915 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 23,339 doses were administered on Wednesday. 13,576 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Wednesday.
