A Roseburg man was jailed following a report that he was running in traffic on Wednesday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said just before 6:00 p.m. officers were sent to the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and contacted a suspect who matched the description provided by one of the witnesses.

The 40-year old was reported to be extremely intoxicated and wreaked of alcohol. The officer advised the man’s parole officer of his condition and she wanted him detained for a parole violation.

The man was held without bail.
