COVID-19 has claimed 13 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,225, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 269 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 156,037. The new cases include:
*44 in Jackson County
*28 in Multnomah County
*26 in Marion County
*24 in Lane County
*23 in Washington County
*20 each in Douglas and Clackamas counties
*11 in Umatilla County
*6 each in Deschutes, Linn and Yamhill counties
*5 in Klamath County
*4 in Polk County
*3 each in Benton, Coos, Lincoln and Tillamook counties
*2 each in Baker, Columbia, Harney, Jefferson, and Lake counties
*1 each in Crook, Gilliam, Morrow and Union counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 27 to 100. 2 lived in Baker County. 1 each lived in Clackamas, Douglas, Deschutes, Jackson, Lane and Linn counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 149, which is 17 more than on Monday. There are 29 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Monday.
OHA reported that 10,911 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 3,894 doses were administered on Monday. 7,017 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 997,448 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,244,505 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
