COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 2,212, as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 197 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 155,787. The new cases include:
*54 in Washington County
*33 in Lane County
*20 in Marion County
*19 in Clackamas County
*16 in Multnomah County
*12 in Jackson County
*11 in Douglas County
*6 in Coos County
*5 in Columbia County
*4 in Deschutes County
*3 each in Baker, Josephine and Polk counties
*2 each in Jefferson and Linn counties
*1 each in Lincoln, Umatilla and Yamhill counties
The new deaths ranged in age from 76 to 92. 2 lived in Josephine County. 1 each lived in Lane and Multnomah counties.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 132, which is two fewer than on Sunday. There are 27 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 1 more than on Sunday.
OHA reported that 13,793 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 6,169 doses were administered on Sunday. 7,625 were administered on previous days, but were entered into the vaccine registry on Sunday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 986,816 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,241,415 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
