COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state’s death toll remaining at 2,208 as of Sunday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 292 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 155,597. The new cases include:
*52 in Marion County
*42 in Washington County
*36 in Lane County
*26 in Clackamas County
*25 in Multnomah County
*21 in Jackson County
*11 each in Douglas and Polk counties
*10 each in Coos and Yamhill counties
*8 in Umatilla County
*7 in Benton County
*6 in Deschutes County
*4 each in Columbia and Linn counties
*3 each in Jefferson and Josephine counties
*2 in Klamath County
*1 each in Grant, Hood River, Lake and Malheur counties
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 134, which is 14 fewer than on Saturday. There are 26 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 5 fewer than on Saturday.
OHA reported that 29,330 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 19,513 doses were administered on Saturday. 9,817 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Saturday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 973,022 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 1,194,495 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
