The update said that support includes people from 25 school outbreaks, 3 long term care center outbreaks and multiple local workplace outbreaks. County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said health officials are not seeing spread necessarily in school classrooms, but through an increase in outside activities such as play dates, study sessions, sporting events and practices, sleep overs, parties and other social gatherings.
Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the current cases are spread between nursing homes, schools, workplaces and gatherings. He said cases have been seen all around the county. Dannenhoffer said there has been a high level of hospitalizations for the past two weeks.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN will be Friday in Roseburg.
