COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, raising the state’s death toll to 2,138, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 411 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 150,875. The new cases include:
*134 in Multnomah County
*42 in Jackson County
*40 in Clackamas County
*37 in Douglas County
*25 in Marion County
*22 in Washington County
*15 in Benton County
*13 in Josephine County
*11 in Coos County
*8 in Deschutes County
*6 each in Polk and Linn counties
*5 in Yamhill County
*4 in Umatilla County
*3 each in Curry, Jefferson and Wallowa counties
*2 each in Baker and Crook counties
*1 each in Columbia, Harney, Lincoln and Wasco counties
Oregon’s 2,138th COVID-19 death is an 85-year old man in Marion County who tested positive on February 7th and died February 14th at Salem Hospital.
OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 195, which is 15 fewer than on Monday. There are 51 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Monday.
OHA reported that 7,568 new doses of COVID-19 vaccinations were added to the state immunization registry. Of that total, 5,282 were administered on Monday. 2,286 were administered on previous days but were entered into the vaccine registry on Monday.
Oregon has now administered a cumulative total of 691,455 first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To date, 905,725 doses of vaccine have been delivered to sites across Oregon.
