1 more person has died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, and 28 more people have received new positive test results, as of Wednesday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 26th COVID-19 death was a 75-year old man who tested positive on November 10th and died on Tuesday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,138. Of those, 1,064 are people that have received positive test results, and 74 are presumptive. 21 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 19 locally and 2 outside the area. 188 people are in isolation. 306 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with the Douglas Public Health Network are supporting 494 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Friday in Roseburg.
