1 more person has died from COVID-19 in Douglas County, 15 more people have received new positive test results, and there is 1 new presumptive case, as of Monday.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the 25th COVID-related death was an 89-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on November 18th and died on November 26th. Dannenhoffer said the Douglas Public Health Network received confirmation of his death Monday morning. This is the 6th COVID-19 death since Friday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 1,090. Of those, 1,018 are people that have received positive test results and 72 are presumptive. 20 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are being hospitalized, 17 locally and 3 outside the area. 182 people are in isolation. 327 people are in quarantine. That means the staff with DPHN are supporting 509 people that are either in isolation or quarantine.
The next drive through testing clinic with DPHN is Tuesday in Roseburg.
