COVID-19 has claimed 6 more lives in Oregon, with 83 new cases reported as of Thursday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said that brings the state’s number of reported cases to 1,321. The new cases include:
*17 in Marion County
*16 each in Washington and Multnomah counties
*6 in Clackamas County
*5 in Deschutes County
*4 each in Jackson and Yamhill counties
*3 each in Linn and Umatilla counties
*2 each in Lane and Morrow counties
*1 each in Columbia, Curry, Klamath, Tillamook and Polk counties.
A previously reported Wallowa County case has been identified as a Washington State resident reducing the Wallowa County case total and the state case count by 1.
The new deaths include:
*A 74-year old man in Linn County who tested positive on March 22nd and died on April 3rd at his residence.
*A 97-year old man in Linn County who tested positive on March 15th and died on April 4th at his residence.
*An 87-year old woman in Multnomah County who tested positive on March 28th and died on April 6th at her residence.
*A 41-year old woman in Multnomah County who tested positive on March 31st and died on April 5th at her residence
*A 66-year old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on March 31st and diedon April 5th at his residence.
*A 74-year old man in Benton County who tested positive on March 26th and died on Wednesday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
All 6 people had underlying medical conditions, according to OHA.
