Communities for Healthy Forests and the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce are offering a “Return to the Burn” event Thursday August 22nd.
Those attending will be able to tour the Bland Mountain and Stouts fire areas and hear about the restoration strategies of private and public landowners, and their plans for the future.
The tour will run from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will leave from the parking lot of the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Lunch, coffee and donuts and transportation are provided at no charge.
