The Douglas County Fair is just over 2 weeks away.
The annual event will run from August 6th through the 10th at the fairgrounds just south of Roseburg.
Headline entertainment this year includes Randy Houser, Collective Soul, Brett Michaels, and Thrice. Headline concerts are at the Cascade Community Credit Union Amphitheater beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fair concerts are free but reserve seat tickets are available for $30.
Saturday the Challenge of the Champions bull riding will take place in the grandstands starting at 4:30 p.m.
The fair includes plenty of 4-H and FFA activities, exhibits, commercial booths and more.  A number of entertainers will roam the grounds. There will also be a Teen Zone again this year.
Funtastic Shows will provide the carnival. An unlimited ride bracelet can be purchased each day for $28.
Buses to the fair will be available at Roseburg High School, the First Student lot in Green, and at the Douglas County Courthouse. Buses are free, but those who drive to the fair will pay $8 per vehicle to park.
