Roseburg Police K9 Axel located a suspect near the duck pond on Tuesday morning.
A report from RPD said a 36-year old man had allegedly stolen an item from Fred Meyer that morning. The K9 found him nearby and the suspect was detained. The man was charged with 1^st degree criminal trespass, 3^rd degree theft and for a probation violation.
The man was held without bail.
