A Roseburg woman was jailed on Wednesday night, accused of threatening police.
Information from the Roseburg Police Department said at about 6:15 p.m. 48-year old Julie Jackson was contacted by officers regarding a disturbance with an elderly male. The woman allegedly punched the man in the face. When officers attempted to contact her, the report said she pulled out a knife. The suspect eventually threw the knife in the grass and took off running. After a very short foot pursuit, officers caught her and forced her to the ground.
