MAN JAILED AFTER BEING FOUND INSIDE ADAPT

A Roseburg man was jailed after reportedly being found inside Adapt on Saturday afternoon.
Information from Roseburg Police said 43-year old Gabriel Baker was found in the building by an employee while the agency was closed. K9 Grim from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in clearing the building and made a biting capture of the suspect who was hiding under a desk and refused to come out. The report said the man had damaged several offices and items inside them before he was discovered.
The man was detained at about 3:00 p.m. He was charged with second-degree counts of burglary and criminal mischief along with a parole violation. He was detained without bail.
