A Grants Pass man was cited for DUII in the Days Creek area early Wednesday morning.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 4:00 a.m. the 31-year-old crashed his Jepp in the 20000 block of Tiller Trail Highway. A deputy contacted the driver who admitted to having “a few beers” at a business prior to driving towards Tiller. The man consented to standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. He later provided a breath sample where his blood alcohol level was 0.09 percent. The man was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants and was released. His vehicle was towed.
