Just over 28 percent of ballots have been returned in the 2026 Douglas County November General Election, as of Tuesday evening.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said 25,098 ballots have been received. Loomis said that is 0.74 percentage points ahead of the participation rate at the same point in the 2022 local November General Election.

Election Day is now six days away. Any registered voter who has not received their ballot should call or visit the county Elections Office.

The Oregon Secretary of State’s Office recommends that ballots be returned to an official drop box site and not mailed in. There are now 17 drop box sites in Douglas County including new locations at the Glide Community Center on North Umpqua Highway and at the Oregon Department of Human Services on West Harvard Avenue in Roseburg.
